Technical Buyer (German language)

The person holding this role will be responsible for the operational implementation of the tasks related to procurement processes.

Main duties:

• Carry out tenders and offer comparisons technically and commercially;
• Expert for production parts (e.g. reading drawings): turned and milled parts, welding assemblies, sheet metal production;
• Leading price and award negotiations with the relevant suppliers;
• Recognize and demonstrate energy savings potential in purchasing projects;
• Creating structures and generating new suppliers in Romania for production parts and accessories in the warehouse equipment sector.

Your profile:

• Technical and commercial purchasing experience required;
• Technical vocational training with (commercial) further training and at least 3 years of practical experience or comparable qualification;
• Sound knowledge, such as experience in purchasing assemblies, production and drawing parts in the metal industry;
• Confident use of MS Office (Excel; Powerpoint);
• English&German Language - Fluent spoken and written.
